This piece reflects a time in my life when I had to leave art school because of money. At that moment I felt that art was no longer an option for me, which is why the art materials appear tied and hanging on the dead vines of the large tree. Even with that setback, I kept making art because it was something I truly loved. The egg on the ground is a symbol of beginnings and the way each challenge can offer a new start. The sky feels unfamiliar because during that period I did not know what direction my life would take. In the end, that detour became something meaningful. I made new friends, found a job that helped me return to school, and learned lessons that shaped the artist and person I am now. The artwork is about moving through uncertainty and finding beauty in paths that are not straightforward.
